As per the news declared last month by the Royal mail officials it said that the Royal mail stamp prices would rise by 2p. This change in prices will come into effect from 26th March 2018 onwards. In the previous formal statement, the exact business prices and specific details were not declared. The recent announcement has come with the exact changes and prices.

Royal Mail has stated that the change of prices is dependent on the seller’s posting profile. The prices of special delivery by 1 pm and 9 am would remain unchanged. The table shown above is strictly based on the Royal mail average profile.
Business rates for sending a 1st class small parcel would start from £3.22 while the 2nd class small parcel would start from £2.72. The business rates for the 1st class letter would start from 57p and for the 2nd class small Letters would start from 38p.
Further, a major change that would come into effect in the near future is the decommissioning of DMO and the replacement would be the click and drop service.
